NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force Copper Terrorizes Uber Driver (Caught on tape)

The NYPD detective who was caught on video chewing out an Uber driver has been stripped of his shield and gun, and will be placed on modified duty, Police officials said, according to NyPo.

Detective Patrick Cherry has been removed from the department’s elite Joint Terrorism Task Force and will be doing desk duty until he is officially transferred out of the prestigious division.

  2. Kudos to the passenger for helping this Uber driver. Sadly, due to the powerful NY police union, this maniac won't be fired.

  3. Speaking of one of the most dangerous gangs in the country, it looks like some residences are doing something about it.

  4. It appears that the prerequisite for being a police officer today is being a complete asshole. This jerk needs to be doing something that he is better qualified for - shoveling manure comes to mind.

[No wait, that would be a promotion...]

  5. But he isn't going to be fired, and will keep his current salary and benefits, nor will he lose his cut of the precinct butter once he's transferred back to a precinct. He should be prosecuted for assault, but of course that can't happen to any cop, anywhere, no matter how badly he behaves.
