Now, Serious Plotting is Going to Take Place Here

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit the White House on Feb. 9

“Germany is a close and valued ally, partner, and friend of the United States, and the president looks forward to welcoming Chancellor Merkel back to the White House,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest said in a statement.

They will discuss a range of issues including Ukraine, Russia, counterterrorism, ISIL, Afghanistan, and Iran.  They will also cover economic growth, international trade, climate change and Germany’s plans for hosting the G-7 Summit in June, said Earnest.

  1. How is it that public figures often have such fitting names? Boehner, Liesman, McCain etc. But "Josh Earnest" is too perfect a name for a spin doctor! What third-rate hack is writing this novel and when can we finally put it down?
