Modernizing cyber-security laws & working to protect national interests against cyber-terrorism should be a top priority 4 Congress in 2015.
— Lindsey Graham (@GrahamBlog) December 18, 2014
Does Lindsey Graham think that "laws" will stop hackers?
They're hackers!!
When they're doing their 'hacking', do you think they say to themselves: "Hold on guys, are there any laws against this?"
They don't care about laws!
But this is Lindsey Graham we're dealing with. The Sony scandal provides a fine opportunity to crank up surveillance on everyone! In the "national interest" Congress can surely intrude further into the lives of the 99.9999% of us 'non-hacking' Americans.
When you're a raging statist, that is "top priority"!

There is actually no evidence that North Korea is behind the hacking and as the article below points out, the move "The Interview" was never even mentioned when Sony first got hacked. Most indications are that this was an inside job by someone within the Sony company, but the neocons are now using it to their advantage to spark fear and crack down on internet freedom.
