Charlie Shrem Gets Two-Year Prison Sentence

The government is not playing around when it comes to Bitcoin operators.

Bitcoin entrepreneur Charlie Shrem was given a two-year prison sentence for aiding and abetting an unlicensed money transmitting business.

Something that would never even been considered illegal in a libertarian society,

Shrem is looking at it from the positive side.

With an attitude like that he'll be just fine, but guys, please remember, Bitcoin is not the answer to replacing government fiat money. It is a very trackable currency and the consequences are severe for those attempting to go around oppressive government money exchange laws.
