Do you recall when a British agent broke the news that the United States government requested British audio spying operatives to listen in on members of the United Nations in an effort to get dirt on them so that the members could be blackmailed into voting for the second Gulf War?
You probably don't, the story was pretty much buried.
"Official Secrets" is the true story of the British operative who leaked the information to the British press and what happened to her.
The movie is on Amazon Prime and can be also rented at Amazon.
I consider this a must-watch for anyone who wants to understand the true nature of how governments operate.
