This is Brilliant

There are a number of versions of this question on the internet. This appears to be the first, though I am not 100% sure. It is very difficult to lose a debate against someone that is in favor of censorship if you ask the above question.

  1. Once Ram Dass was speaking to Thich Nhat Hahn and Dass said, "so many activists are angry. And they come to me asking what can be done about injustice."

And Hahn said, "when you are angry you cannot be lucid." Anger may drive you. It may provide you energy. But the lucid self will not be in control.

I have never heard a more perfect explanation of the modern left. They became angry. And they are no longer lucid. They have indignation but it is no longer righteous.

    2. Isn't it interesting that Ben Franklin is remembered more for his eccentricies than his wisdom? He was a very bright and insightful man.

    3. I think I have a simpler explanation of the modern left: they are simply idiots. Useful idiots.
