Facebook Says It Will Ban Anti-Vaccination Ads

The Facebook division of Leninist Valley apparently thinks it should be the last word on the science surrounding vaccines.

Facebook announced today that it is launching a new global policy that bans ads that discourage people from getting vaccines.

“Now, if an ad explicitly discourages someone from getting a vaccine, we’ll reject it,” the company announced in a blog post.

So who are these employees at Facebook who announced the decision about vaccine advertising policy?

The post was made by the Head of Health, Kang-Xing Jin, and Director of Product Management Rob Leathern.

Kang-Xing has a degree in computer science and Leathern also has a computer science degree and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

But they quoted Diane Summers, Senior Advisor, Vaccine Acceptance & Demand, UNICEF, to seemingly back up their decision.

The quote:

Vaccines have always been a global priority for UNICEF, and will be even more so as the world continues to battle COVID-19. Building demand for vaccination in communities worldwide is key to saving lives. Our collaboration with Facebook is part of our efforts to address vaccine misinformation and share resonant and reassuring information on vaccination.

Summers has no science degrees only degrees in law. Perhaps she is considered an expert because she follows Melinda Gates on her LinkedIn page

She was the only expert quoted in the Facebook announcement.

To keep things confusing and perhaps to muzzle the backlash, Facebook will, at this time, still allow ads that advocate against government policies around vaccines, including the Covid-19 vaccine.
