Elon Musk Says He Won’t Take Coronavirus Vaccine

 Go Elon!

Tesla founder Elon Musk saidon the New York Times podcast “Sway” that neither he nor his family would take a COVID-19 vaccine even if it was readily available.

“I’m not at risk, neither are my kids,” Musk told host Kara Swisher.

During the exchange, he called the COVID-related lockdowns a “no-win situation” that has “diminished my faith in humanity.”

And it gets better, he went on to slap at Bill Gates.

“Gates said something about me not knowing what I was doing,” Musk told Swisher. “It’s like, ‘Hey, knucklehead, we actually make the vaccine machines for CureVac, that company you’re invested in.'” He was referring to the fact that Tesla manufactures equipment for the German biopharmaceutical firm CureVac.

Musk previously called widespread quarantines “unethical” and “de facto house arrest,” RT reports.

  1. Now if Musk would simply not take government redistributions to subsidize Tesla. How does Musk live with such cognitive dissonance? Mandated lockdowns are "unethical" but mandated taxes to fund Tesla are ethical.

  2. Like hugely increased home-school enrollment, I think this is one of the blessings of the statist over-reach! Everyone is getting the opportunity to find their inner libertarian.

As Musk moves Tesla out of the Bay Area, the exodus from California will escalate to a fever pitch. Tesla is the #1 company young engineers want to work for. Maybe Space-X can move from Long Beach to Houston. It's the #2 desired destination for graduating engineers.

Capitalism at work. No ideology required. Maybe he'll become more consistent in the future, but let's celebrate the wins as they come!

    1. Yep. And BTW, I would really like to know, which automaker does NOT receive Fed Subsidies.
