Yesterday, I visited a friend at his office and was confronted as I stepped off the elevator by a gentleman who was upset that I wasn't wearing a mask.
I explained to him that I had a medical condition and couldn't wear a mask.
He asked me what my condition was and I told him it is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act to ask me that question (using a government agency against a mini-agent of the state).
He then told me that "I looked too healthy to have a medical condition" and that he was going to report me to the police and the local health agency.
It was at this point I pulled out my cell phone to start recording just in case I needed context to what was going down. I tried to get him to repeat what he said.
This is what then occurred:
This is the second time in two days that I have been aggressively approached for not wearing a mask.
With the guy above, I initially tried to reason with him and said he should simply step back until the elevator opens to see who is in it. In my case, I would then step rapidly away and be on my way but he would have none of it.
Jon Rappoport may be correct when he says this may be all about trauma-based mind control.
I mean, I was really trying to be civil to this guy, but he wouldn't have it and wouldn't try to think about how two civil people might resolve the situation.
To him, I was trying to kill him. There was no concern for my medical condition at all, which he deemed non-existent.
This is what occurs when the state starts aggressively expanding its laws and regulations. You don't know when your neighbor or just someone on the street is going to turn you in. You start to hide your activities as much as possible. This leads to a gray, drab world.
I visited East Berlin before the wall came down. The life that was sucked out of the East Berlin people was stunning. The atmosphere was very depressing. It was, of course, because of the central planning and rules and regulations everywhere. People were afraid to live for fear of somehow breaking a regulation and being turned in to the state.
If the guy that confronted me does so fear the virus, he should just stay home rather than demand civilization be shut down because of his fear which is likely dread risk fear.

UPDATE
A friend sends me this story:
Man fires gun in Miami hotel because people weren't social distancing, police say
It's what you've pointed out in previous posts that one, people are tiring of the psychological suffocation of wearing masks, but more importantly, I think these things are making people sick. The lack of oxygen is training people's lungs to adapt to a reduced state of respiration and reduced immunity, which heightens their anxiety and stress to the point that anyone defending their freedoms is viewed as a mortal or existential threat.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is why I keep a mask in my pocket. I can slap it on for two seconds - I even cut slits in it for better breathing - to avoid a wacko like this.
ReplyDeleteDavid
As bad as compliance appearances may seem to the liberty minded, there are benefits to skating along with Idiocracy masses, one being the super difficulty of successful visual surveillance!
DeleteThis placates me for the time being Hah
Maybe the excess CO2 mask wearers are breathing are destroying their brain cells.
ReplyDeleteWhat a complete loon.
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, though. It's about changing people's mindset in such a way that they assume that "anti-maskers" are out to do them harm.
Be careful with those man babies Mr. Wenzel. They might start packing. We need you around.
ReplyDeleteNot in the People Republic of Kalifornia. The sheep is way too brainwashed here and every single one of them think the guns are out to kill them. So they are unarmed.
DeleteIf the mask is effective at stopping the virus, then isn't one mask between two people a sufficient barrier? The virus doesn't know or care in which direction it is traveling.
ReplyDeleteMany times I have used this argument, to no avail. We are not dealing with rational, thoughtful human beings; more like wild animals fending off a predator.
DeleteI've made exactly this same point with people. If YOU are wearing a mask then YOU are (presumably) protected from me. So why the hell should I wear one?! But the current brain rot is so bad they just don't get it. Hopeless.
DeleteThis is a key element of the Mass Psychosis Fear Porn Theater Face Diaper Zombie Apocalypse. The mask you wear doesn't protect *you* it protects everyone else *from* you. I can't tell you how many times someone has said to me, "I wear it for you." Either they're lying and are truly afraid, or the propaganda has worked to perfection.
DeleteOnce I was at an NFL game and decided to remain seated during a military ceremony where a veteran was honored on the field before the game. Some drunk moron sitting behind me got offended and poured his beer over my head, ruining the game for me.
ReplyDeleteSince then I generally go along with the crazy social fads just to avoid risk of being injured by some insane comformist - a risk that is very real in our deranged society.
In those instances, discretion is definitely the better part of valor. I make sure that I'm walking around the stadium or buying food when the state worship begins, to avoid that situation, and also you're more likely to bump into fellow travelers who also don't pray at the state's altar.
DeleteDepending on whom I am with, I might or might not stay seated during the national song/pledges allegiance etc. I was at a Pistons game last Veterans Day, and it seems like most of the evening was taken up with tributes and worship of soldiers, wars, Leviathan, and the like; It was just too much for me to stay seated, but I'll be damned if I'm taking my hat off or putting my hand on my heart.
Delete"Put your yellow Jewish Star on, Jewish schwein, or you'll be reported!!"
ReplyDeleteSeriously, why can't a person just put their own hand over their mouth, for all the efficacy of stupid masks. Or pull your shirt up over your mouth and nose. That's what I do.
Their fight or flight response is being triggered. This is dangerous territory. If this sort of response becomes normal, then any anti-mask mandate people are more likely to have the same response evoked in themselves when they think about what might happen if they choose not to wear a mask.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for your liberty to make each other sick and die. Bye bye Herman Cain.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the life expectancy of somebody who is 74, had colon and liver cancer, and gets sick with a virus? Should he have lived 30 more years on average?
