Murray Sabrin Calls on NYC Mayor DeBlasio to Resign

Murray Sabrin sent the following email to New York City Mayor DeBlasio:
I live in a Fort Lee co-op, a short distance from the Hudson River.  For the past few evenings and well into the wee hours of the next day fireworks have exploded constantly in Manhattan.  The loud explosions have sounded like living in a war zone.  As a naturalized citizen (1959) I took an oath to uphold the US Constitution.  You have taken that same oath when you were sworn in twice as Mayor.  The preamble states that we people to form a more perfect union will insure domestic tranquility.  As the chief executive office of the city where I grew up and have been a good New Jersey neighbor for more than 40 years, if you cannot uphold your oath to insure domestic tranquility then I urge you to resign and hand over your office to someone who will uphold the rule of law.

I am not sure what is going on but there have been reports of loud fireworks (M80s?) going off nightly in many large cities. It is certainly occurring in the San Francisco Bay Area in both Oakland and San Francisco.

When I hit the pillow, I go right to sleep but I have had many friends and acquaintances tell me that they have trouble sleeping because of the loud noise. It does sound like a war zone.

It is almost as if they are being set off to disturb the general public.

What gives? What the hell is going on in this country?

  1. I thinks it’s fantastic. Not going to lie. I doubt there is anything nefarious going on. People on lock down blowing off steam. The silent protest against state sanctioned black markets.
