This is her district. Filmed this morning. Pelosi can kneel and pander in DC — but this is how a many black people live in the district she has represented for 33 years.
Tent cities.
Filth.
Drugs.

Two points:
1. Not all of San Francisco looks like this. But this is the Tenderloin district and it goes for blocks and blocks.
2. One of Michael Edelstein's favorite vegetarian restaurants, the Golden Era, is in the middle of this and before the lockdown, we would eat there about once a month. The guy can put down rice and greens.

I order "The Queen," which is soy "chicken" carmelized in chili soy sauce embedded on spinach.

No offense, but as a native southerner that meal is almost as sad as the tenderloin district itself. It is what I would expect in San Francisco. In the words of Ron Swanson "That's the food my food eats." ;)
