The Heroic Elon Musk

Why aren't there more entrepreneurs like Elon Musk, most of whom are instead sitting at home and taking Trump checks printed out of thin air?

    Musk has spent a lot of years as a crony capitalist. He has a lot of work to do to make up for all of that, including giving up whatever crony stuff he still has on-going. We can only hope this the beginning of a trend.

      I agree completely.
      He is no free market guy.
      But - like you say - maybe this is the beginning of a new leaf. Though I doubt it.
      No matter - I strongly support his stance on this.

    Jimmy Joe Meeker beat me to it, but Musk has been (and likely still is) a crony capitalist. I'm not so sure he's all that "heroic" unless it starts to hurt his bottom line.
