“This media chatter is ridiculous – President Trump is not firing Dr. Fauci,” said White House principal deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley.
“The President’s tweet clearly exposed media attempts to maliciously push a falsehood about his China decision in an attempt to rewrite history,” Gidley said. “It was Democrats and the media who ignored Coronavirus choosing to focus on impeachment instead, and when they finally did comment on the virus it was to attack President Trump for taking the bold decisive action to save American lives by cutting off travel from China and from Europe. Dr. Fauci has been and remains a trusted advisor to President Trump.”
What kind of spell does Fauci have over Trump?
Others have been fired for much less.
Perhaps Trump and Fauci are out of the same sociopathic strain and Fauci can, therefore, play Trump like a fiddle that few can.

He was stupid & foolish to listen to the guy's horrible models that defied any common sense to begin with, stupid to follow his recommendations after, and now seems perfectly fine to be pummeled in public by the little weasel...
He is either not competent or just a "fall guy" stooge for the elites....or maybe even in on the scam
The proof will be does he actually open the economy soon like he keeps hinting at.....he can keep Fauci, hell even elope with the guy for all care, as long as I get my freedom back and the destruction of millions of lives via economic suicide is stopped

ReplyDeleteIt would probably be much more trouble than it's worth to fire him outright; Fauci's approval ratings are too high. I'm not ordinarily inclined to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, but my guess would be that he's making nice to avoid creating a thousand new headaches for himself. If you think there's furious opposition to the idea of lifting lockdown anytime before 2022 now, imagine what it would be like if he fires St. Anthony, whom they have placed alongside Comey, Mueller, Yovanovich, et al in their pantheon of Resistance heroes.
