There is a lot of bad stuff that goes on in the world but at the top of the list has to be the China-hating Donald Trump acting as a global moralist.
The Trump administration has announced this morning that it has added 28 Chinese entities to an export blacklist, citing their role in Beijing’s repression of Muslim minorities in northwest China.
The newly identified entities “have been implicated in human rights violations and abuses in the implementation of China’s campaign of repression, mass arbitrary detention, and high-technology surveillance against Uighurs, Kazakhs, and other members of Muslim minority groups” in northwest China’s Xinjiang region, the Commerce Department said.
The Administration remarkably makes these kinds of statements when it has put Chelsea Manning in jail for refusing to testify against Julian Assange and Assange himself, under the influence of the US government, is undergoing who knows what kind of torture in Great Britain.
The best way for a government to fight evil is by not acting in an evil way itself, and not by throwing its muscle around by blocking free trade transactions.

Funny world. The president of the gang that has been bombing, sanctioning and other atrocities toward Muslims for decades is blathering about another gang’s immorality toward Muslims. The NBA is apologizing to this other gang because one of the NBA’s higher ups has voiced his personal siding with those seeking freedom from gang China, throwing a monkey wrench into the NBA’s access to gang China’s huge and growing market. And in steps South Park doing what they do; ridiculing the un-real reality with no mercy.
