Grabien reports:
At 76, Joe Biden is one the oldest people to ever mount a presidential campaign, and in his first speech as a presidential candidate Monday, it showed.
The Pennsylvania native and former vice president — who just announced his third attempt at a run for the White House — repeatedly stumbled and slurred his way through his brief, 27-minute remarks in Pittsburgh Monday. His almost every sentence was peppered with verbal stumbles.
He opened: “I want to thank Rich Fritzgerald, the county executive for — the baladanny — the Alleghengy County executive for being here.”
“The country wasn’t built by Wall St. bankers, CEOs, and hudge — heh — and hedge fund managers,” Biden stammered during what was supposed to be a headline moment.
At various points he stumbled over words like “dignity,” “successful,” and “hospitals.” Occasionally words were entirely indecipherable.
“Union workers, the UAW took extredable — cuts in their pensions and their future and the less to get GM working,” Biden said.

ReplyDeleteSame way as always. The MSM will ignore it. Anyone who talks about will be labeled a "conspiracy theorist", "right-winger", or worse. Cites to CSPAN won't even matter. Seen it many times before on many subjects. MSM ignores, people who know and talk about it get labeled, unimpeachable cites ignored as if they don't exist. Works every time.
Looks like a mix of old and tired, and bad teleprompter work. Typos and speed issues on the teleprompter, mixed with tired old man eyes. Skipped his nap?

ReplyDeleteI'm more concerned about his ability to reason. When he was VP, he said that AR 15s aren't good for self defense because small fraimed people like women cant handle such a caliber. (.223s have extremely little recoil for those that don't know. Barely more than a .22). He went on to say that he tells his wife if she is scared at night to take their 12 gauge shotgun, go out on their balcony and shoot two shots in the air to scare anybody away. As a side note, go do a search on youtube for women shooting 12 gauges.
