Ilhan Omar: Obama’s a ‘pretty face’ who got ‘away with murder’

Ilhan Omar
Rep. Ilhan Omar is a socialist but her focus seems to be in the right place: the obvious death and destruction created by the state.

Omar ripped former President Barack Obama in an interview published Friday, belittling his “pretty face” and saying his agenda of hope and change was an illusion, reports The New York Post.
She cited the “caging of kids” at the Mexican border and the “droning of countries around the world” on Obama’s watch — and argued that he wasn’t much different from President Trump
“We can’t be only upset with Trump,” she told Politico Magazine.
“His policies are bad, but many of the people who came before him also had really bad policies. They just were more polished than he was,” Omar said.
“And that’s not what we should be looking for anymore. We don’t want anybody to get away with murder because they are polished. We want to recognize the actual policies that are behind the pretty face and the smile.”
Wow, just wow. Go girl!

  1. Oh yeah, go girl - she backtracked her comments the next day. She's another reason to close the borders.

    1. Chubba. What is your source citing her backtracking? A URL would be helpful. Thanks.

  2. These people can be reached. The typical leftist instinctively knows that's wealthy powerful people exploit the vulnerable and marginalized.... they're just confused about the mechanism.

We need to try harder to attune our messaging to their sentiments. It can be done. We waste too much time on careful rational arguments. It's a waste of time. Learn to dance. Get the girl.

    1. Some can be reached some of the time. But they revert back to basic programming. They'll complain about taxes or the war machine or whathaveyou. Especially if it is the right that raised taxed or bombed someone. They sound almost libertarian. Then in the next moment they'll argue for those things to help people when they shift compartments in thinking. It simply doesn't stick. It doesn't reach the point of philosophical thinking or principle. It is all in the moment judgment calls.

    2. You're trying to reason people out of ideas they weren't reasoned into.

      Attune to their sentiments!
