Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez
Netflix paid $10 million for worldwide rights for the Sundance offered documentary "Knock Down the House" a film that followed the campaigns of congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and three other candidates who ran against incumbents in the elections last fall.

The other candidates covered in the film are Cori Bush, Amy Vilela and Paula Jean Swearengin.

According to Deadline, sources said that nearly every distributor chased deal broker Cinetic Media for "Knock Down the House" including NEON, Focus, Hulu and Amazon.

The $10 million winning bid is believed to be the largest amount ever paid for a documentary at Sundance.
