Joe Biden Goes Full Plato to Hint He is Going to Run for President

Joe Biden
Updates below.

Joe Biden, at an event this evening at the University of Delaware, dropped a Plato quote to give a big hint he will be entering the race to seek the Democratic presidential nomination.

“One of the penalties of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors,” he said during an event discussion with at the university with presidential historian Jon Meacham.

About his family, he said, “there’s a consensus I should, they want me to run” for president.

“I can die a happy man never having lived in the White House. But what I don’t want to do Is take people’s time, effort and commitment without there being a clear shot I could be the nominee. I think I can. I think that’s where we are,” he said.

“We’re also taking a hard look at whether or not this alleged appeal I have — how deep does it run? Is it real?” Biden continued.

“There’s still a couple hurdles to make sure this is all in place. But I’m not there yet. I don’t want to mislead you. I have not made the final decision.”

As terrible as Biden would be as president, he appears downright sound compared to the other candidates  that are frontrunners. Of course, my first choice is the long-shot Tulsi Gabbard

As for Biden, I would attack him as vociferously, from a libertarian perspective, like the others but I sure hope he is the one that ends up in the White House sitting on the four-year throne, to be intellectually attacked.

  2. "One of the penalties of refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors,” -- No, Joe, whether or not you participate in politics, you end up being governed by your inferiors. As Tom Woods is fond of saying, no matter who you vote for, you end up with John McCain.
