Does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Want to Eliminate Cow Fart Emissions?

Somebody should ask her.

On Feb. 5, the congressional office of socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez posted a blog entry under “energy issues” detailing her "Green New Deal" proposal and answering “frequently asked questions.”

It is claimed by many that the post included a call to eliminate emissions from cows and end air travel along with providing economic security for those who are “unable or unwilling to work.”

This may or may not be the case. She has taken down that version and it is impossible to know what that version is, since there are many versions now floating around on the internet. She claims most are doctored versions like this.

The alt-right is apparently having some fun.

Ocasio-Cortez’s office does, however, admit that a "Green New Deal" document was published and taken down. They are claiming it was an unfinished draft that was not intended for publication.

“There separately IS a doctored FAQ floating around. And an early draft of a FAQ that was clearly unfinished and that doesn’t represent the GND resolution got published to the website by mistake (idea was to wait for launch, monitor q's, and rewrite that FAQ before publishing),” Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff Saikat Chakrabati said.

But aside from the doc taken down and the doctored versions, what we need to know is if AOC is in favor of eliminating plane travel and farting cows, and in favor of "economic security" for those who don't feel like working. It appears these points were made in the version taken down,

So forget the docs, someone in the media following her around needs to ask her questions about the apparent policy positions in the doc taken down so that we can understand fully how wacko of a lefty we are dealing with.

  1. She's the antithesis of the Hegelian dialectic of our political system. Her agenda is so absurd, but also ubiquitous, that folks like Pelosi/Shumer and Romney/Cruz can easily advance synthesis, and the masses will feel relief.
