MICHAEL COHEN: Developer Trump Was Trying to Put Together a Development

This is really as bizarre as it gets,

Donald Trump's former attorney Michael Cohen has pled guilty to lying to Congress about the fact that before Trump was elected president he continued his business operations which included being a global real estate developer.

And that one of the desired development locations was Moscow.


Apparently one of the individuals working on the proposed project came up with the idea that Russian President Vladimir Putin be given the $50 million penthouse in the proposed building which it was thought would prompt Russian oligarchs to rush in and buy other units in the building.

On Thursday, [Felix] Sater told BuzzFeed he and Cohen thought giving Putin the penthouse would prompt other wealthy Russian buyers to scoop up apartments in the building.

"In Russia, the oligarchs would bend over backwards to live in the same building as Vladimir Putin," Sater said. "My idea was to give a $50 million penthouse to Putin and charge $250 million more for the rest of the units. All the oligarchs would line up to live in the same building as Putin."

In other words, a pretty clever idea. What is the problem? There is none, other than the idiot Cohen lying about how long the Trump organization continued to attempt to get the project off the ground, up to June 2016 not January 2016

Cohen perhaps lied in cahoots with Trump but Cohen is the lawyer here and he should have simply told Trump he couldn't do it.

In an odd way, Trump is right when he says Cohen is weak and the evidence is that here is a case where Cohen a committed a very dumb crime possibly because he was too weak to stand up to Trump.

This is a Martha Stewart level "crime" and Cohen deserves to be locked up like Stewart for five months in the same women's federal prison as Stewart in Alderson, West Virginia for the crime of being stupid.

Special counsel Robert Mueller, on the other hand, should be locked up in with Ted Kaczynski in the Supermax prison in Florence, California, for crimes against sanity and attempting to insult the American people by pretending to do serious investigation by producing nothing but absurdly forced Stalin-type plea deals to "crimes."
