Dear Bob: You pose a very important question to me:
How exactly do you see the benefit of Trump's crude non-political correctness going on campus when now in the Age of Trump students have taken to politically correct boycotts of your classes and any other events you are a part of?
One good aspect of Trump’s anti-PC is Betsy De Vos’ new position on campus sexual harrassment. Under the Obama administration on this matter, which I’m sure Hillary would have continued or even worsened, males accused of such acts were in a dire situation: they couldn’t confront accusers, have a lawyer present, etc., etc. But, under the present Dept of Education ruling, things are vastly improved. (I still think the dept of ed ought to be ended, but that is another matter).
Bob, you’re lucky. Most university campuses are intellectual and moral cesspools. Dom and I have had to endure this for lo these many years; you’ve been spared that. My contention is that these very different experiences explain at least a part of our differences over Trump and Clinton.

ReplyDelete36% of millennials are college graduates. US population is 22% millennial. (Source: quick Google). I do not think it's arguable that those shrill millennial college students are a very small minority. Moreover, I don't think it's far-fetched that those same shrill kids dont major in influential, money making fields. They are physically, socially, economically and intellectually weak. On the large scale, what threat are they? This is a non-issue.
