WATCHING GEORGE SOROS USE MUSCLE: Soros Called Greek Prime Minister and Ordered The Then Greek Finance Minister Be Fired

Yanis Varoufakis
Former Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis now claims that it was billionaire George Soros who demanded that he be sacked from the Greek government in 2015, reports Keep Talking Greece.

In an interview on Monday with private Skai TV, the former minister said George Soros phoned then Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras in July 2015 and demanded that he be fired. Varoufakis "resigned" that month.

“Soros has picked up the phone about me only one time. When he contacted Tsipras in July 2015 and demanded my expulsion,” Varoufakis said.

During the Greek financial crisis on June 25 2015, Varoufakis was presented with an ultimatum in the Eurogroup. It included a fiscal proposal, a reform agenda, and a funding formula that Varoufakis, his government, and several other ministers of finance sitting in the Eurogroup, considered to be non-viable.

Upon resignation, he stated that he would wear the creditors' “loathing with pride”

One must ask: Was Soros one of those creditors? Did Soros hold Greek debt that would be hurt by the position held by Varoufakis?
