Silicon Valley Billionaire/Clinton Supporter Buys Time Magazine

Marc Benioff, co-founder of Salesforce.com and his wife Lynne Benioff are buying TIME magazine for $190 million .

The Benioffs are buying TIME as individuals; the agreement is unrelated to Salesforce.com, where  Benioff also serves as chairman and co-chief executive.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the proposed sale is expected to close within 30 days.

Benioff is a typical Silicon Valley leftist with a stunted understanding of economics.

He supported
Hillary Clinton for President in 2016.

In April 2015, he announced that he would be reviewing all salaries at Salesforce to ensure men and women were being paid equally for comparable work.

Benioff also joined President Barack Obama in January 2016 as he celebrated the anniversary of the economically clueless Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and renewed his call on Congress to pass the equally clueless Paycheck Fairness Act.

  1. Do people still read Time Magazine?! I guess they do. Who wuda thunk it?

  2. I think it's interesting that all these members of the Silicon Billionaires Boy's Club are in the "virtuals" business. They think enterprise is "magic". It shows itself, for instance, when one of them, Elon Musk, tries to build something real like an automobile.
Anyhow, they have no knowledge or appreciation for actual capitalism and what it requires to work. And how HARD it is.
