ANOTHER WOMAN?

Now this:

UPDATE:

Via The New Yorker:

Senate Democrats Investigate a New Allegation of Sexual Misconduct, from Brett Kavanaugh’s College Years

By Ronan Farrow and Jane Mayer

UPDATE 2

Via The New Yorker:

The offices of at least four Democratic senators have received information about the allegation, and at least two have begun investigating it. Senior Republican staffers also learned of the allegation last week and, in conversations with The New Yorker, expressed concern about its potential impact on Kavanaugh’s nomination...

The woman at the center of the story, Deborah Ramirez, who is fifty-three, attended Yale with Kavanaugh, where she studied sociology and psychology. Later, she spent years working for an organization that supports victims of domestic violence. The New Yorker contacted Ramirez after learning of her possible involvement in an incident involving Kavanaugh....

Ramirez said that she felt confident enough of her recollections to say that she remembers Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his [genital part] in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away. Ramirez is now calling for the F.B.I. to investigate Kavanaugh’s role in the incident. “I would think an F.B.I. investigation would be warranted,” she said...

She remembers Kavanaugh standing to her right and laughing, pulling up his pants. “Brett was laughing,” she said. “I can still see his face, and his hips coming forward, like when you pull up your pants.”...

In a statement, Kavanaugh wrote, “This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen. The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name--and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building--against these last-minute allegations.”

UPDATE 3

WOW. He's done. Read the full New Yorker article. I don't see how he survives this.

UPDATE 4

There is a third woman!

UPDATE 5

It just got insane:

Attorney Michael Avenatti says he's "aware of evidence" regarding 1980's DC house parties where Kavanaugh, Mark Judge, others "would participate in the targeting of women with alcohol/drugs in order to allow a 'train' of men to subsequently gang rape them"

Subject: RE: SCOTUS -- Avenatti claim of evidence

Dear Mr. Davis:

Thank you for your email. We are aware of significant evidence of multiple house parties in the Washington, D.C. area during the early 1980s during which Brett Kavanaugh, Mark Judge and others would participate in the targeting of women with alcohol/drugs in order to allow a "train" of men to subsequently gang rape them. There are multiple witnesses that will corroborate these facts and each of them must be called to testify publicly.
As a starting point, Senate investigators should pose the following questions to Judge Kavanaugh without delay and provide the answers to the American people:

1. Did you ever target one or more women for sex or rape at a house party? Did you ever assist Mark Judge or others in doing so?

 2. Did you ever attend any house party during which a woman was gang raped or used for sex by multiple men?

3. Did you ever witness a line of men outside a bedroom at any house party where you understood a woman was in the bedroom being raped or taken advantage of?

4. Did you ever participate in any sexual conduct with a woman at a house party whom you understood to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs?

 5. Did you ever communicate with Mark Judge or anyone else about your participation in a "train" involving an intoxicated woman?

6. Did you ever object or attempt to prevent one or more men from participating in the rape, or taking advantage, of a woman at any house party?

Please note that we will provide additional evidence relating to the above conduct both to the Committee and the American public in the coming days.

Regards,
Michael Avenatti

  1. "WOW. He's done." Maybe you've never heard of Trump, because he sure as hell wasn't done while doing way worse. A penis in the face as a harmless prank at a dorm party? Welcome to dorm life.

  2. It's a sad statement on the quality of discourse when this matter, and not Kavanaugh's track record on the Fourth Amendment, is what consumes all the discussion time and may derail his candidacy. (I'm sure if just half of the allegations are true, Kavanaugh would fit right in with the rest of the swamp creatures.)

  3. It would be prudent for Trump to withdraw Kavanaugh immediately and nominate someone else. Makes no sense to drag this out, except for entertainment value.

  4. @Michael Edelstein,

It really doesn't matter: they'll just find something on the next nominee. Especially if the bar is mashing yourself up against a girl during a drunken college party. A college party that apparently did not even take place.

  5. Its the best sort of test, just as election campaign is very grueling episode for an elected official, why should other officials sail through so toss them on to the fire and see how they handle it.
as a guess, they probably end up with boring middle of the road gal for 'bipartisanship' which is the whole point of the federal govt that the special interests get what they want. Having too many conservatives on SC tilt that balance too much.
