I am not sure what is driving Google’s Sundar Pichai decision to refuse to testify at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing next week but at this point, I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt cheer him.
We need more CEOs who are willing to tell Congress to go to hell!
There needs to be much less government involvement in the private sector.
And while I am at Sundar, here's a thought: End all your contracts and other agreements with the government.

This is a bit of a watershed moment too like many these days.
ReplyDeleteHip Hip Hooray for those guys who are implementing Big Brother who are running from transparency!
ReplyDeleteThis is what liberturdism has become in 2018.
Yeah because when I think “transparency” the US Senate is the first thing that comes to mind...
DeleteSo you want the guys “implementing big brother” to testify in front of big brother. I can feel the sweeping change now.
DeleteWell put, Evan. Well put.
DeleteI know most libertarians never have to worry about being censored because they don't anything remotely relevant to say these days, but these tech companies are instituting Draconian censorship against political dissidents right now. The US Senate grilling these awful people will at the very least bring their anti-free speech behavior to the public's attention.
DeleteI can't really cheer anything about Google these days since they have entered the realm of unofficial internet censors. Doing the job that government can't do, I guess.
