Dershowitz Unloads on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

This is interesting.

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz said earlier this week that he won’t let radicals like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders steal the spirit of the Democratic Party, reports FOX.

“I won’t let the Democrats steal my party from me. I want to regain the center,” Dershowitz told WABC Radio’s “Curtis and Cosby” show, noting that he will remain a Democrat as “as long as there’s some chance the Democratic Party can return to normalcy.”

“I want to make sure that the radical Left, the woman who got elected in the Bronx and Queens to Congress on the Democratic ticket, that they and Sanders and others don’t represent the Democratic Party,” he continued, referring to socialist Ocasio-Cortez who pulled off a shock victory last week against incumbent Democratic Rep. Joseph Crowley.

“I want a fight within the Democratic Party to restore it to the days when it was a great centrist party, when it united people rather than divided people,” he added.

My fearless forecast: Former Starbucks CEO and wacky social justice warrior Howard Schultz will dump his public SJW advocacy and position himself as the Democratic centrist presidential candidate. When he did the television rounds after announcing his resignation as Starbucks' CEO, he was talking as a centrist. That is, it shows he would do what Hillary didn't, move toward the center to win the general election.

A general election race between Schultz and Donald Trump would be a heavyweight election bout for the ages between two of the best marketers and branders in the country.

Anybody that is good enough to get large portions of Americans to pay $5.00 for a cup of coffee is a very skilled marketer and in Trump's league.

  1. Dershowitz is an Israel-firster. Just like Trump.

Sandy O may have some Ron Paulian instincts. This may all be as simple as that.

  2. He may as well become a basic bitch republican. Pro Israel, center to center-left policies and a creeping expansion of government is what they represent now.

  3. The Democrat governor of the state of Washington Jay Inslee is said to be a possible candidate for President in 2020. He's a centrist and supports free trade, as much as any national politician can. He's also pro immigration.

He's the current Chair of the Democratic Governors Association. Bill Clinton held that office when he ran for President.
