REPORT Trump Considering Construction of a Prison Camp to Hold Up to 5,000 Children

The Trump administration is looking to build tent cities at military posts around Texas to shelter the increasing number of unaccompanied migrant children being held in detention, reports McClatchy DC.

The Department of Health and Human Services will visit Fort Bliss, an Army base near El Paso in the coming weeks to look at a parcel of land where the administration is considering building a tent city to hold between 1,000 and 5,000 children, according to U.S. officials and other sources familiar with the plans, reports McClatchy DC. .

HHS officials confirmed that they’re looking at the Fort Bliss site along with Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene and Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo for potential use as temporary shelters.

“HHS will make the determination if any of the three sites assessed are suitable," said an HHS official.

    Sick.

They brought child when knowingly committing the crime. When parents are detained in jail, the child is separated from them.

    Sick.

Wenzel's PPS clearly states that there are no borders, there are no punishments, and if you bring children along you can murder anyone and they can't separate you. That's why he's just being principled here, and not virtue signaling.

Clueless Trumpista confuses 'national borders' (lines traced on a map by conquerors) with true property rights, which belong to individuals and not 'nations'.

      Sick.

      And pathetic. Trumpistas are pathetic.

    2. Where are the ancaps at when Francisco's fellow border jumpers are crossing over private ranches and destroying water lines, fences and leaving their waste everywhere? All of a sudden private property rights take a backseat to antiwhite virtue signaling.

    3. Francisco, if the government came to your house and said you can't lock the door, and that they were moving people into your house, and that you had to feed them, and that they may or may not work, and that they have a different religion or culture or both, and that they were coming because they hadn't been able to create a nice place at home...

Would you then be like, "Well, my front door is a 'national border' now, so I guess it's ok!"

No. As libertarians we need to get the State out of the line business. But until then, given the welfare state and one-man-one-vote democracy, Yes, we need to monitor and control immigration; and we need to punish criminality.

You call "Trumpistas" pathetic in a "pathetic"veiled attempt to insult me. Since I think Trump is scum, you insult yourself.

Your talk of "Conquerers" belies your bitterness. Mexico, your home country, was also "conquered," and likely by your Spanish ancestors. Or maybe you're representing the bitter conquered. Either way, leave your personal baggage at the door, please.

  2. It’s interesting how people feel ownership of a territory within a arbitrary line that a State draws up on a map, and they try to equate a PPS with this made up territory, as if they actually have any ownership of the territory at all.
This is one problem that I have with the Great Hans Hoppe’s theory on the taxpayers having some sort of ownership to the land and resources, such a roads, because their taxes paid for the infrastructure. This to me gives people a false sense of ownership and distorts what property ownership is. Plus, I think it contradicts the fact that taxation is theft. Thieves have no obligation to use the resources stolen to benefit the victim, (as far as the thief is concerned). A State border and a PPS borders are apples and oranges in comparison.

Exactly, but Hoppe and pseudo-libetarians like Bionic Mosquito argue that the State's ursurpation over people's decisions over the use of their property somehow justifies FURTHER violations and abridgements over people's right to freely and voluntarily INVITE immigrants to work, to rent, to buy, to stay and yes, to marry. Instead both Hoppe and BM end up justifying blandishing State power as a weapon to attack people some other people don't like, using a series of irrelevant worries and paranoid hallucinations.

    2. Good point. Bryan Caplan at George Mason University also points this out---that anti-immigration folks seem to believe the fallacy that all the citizens "own" the country.

    3. And even if one were to stipulate that the country actually is collectively owned by its citizens, that would still mean that the property rights of those citizens who WANT to associate with immigrants are being violated by the apartheidists.

So, since we haven't gotten to full private property, we have to pretend there's no such thing as private property until then?

Do you really think it's a no-brainer? That there's no effect of the welfare state that distorts your "analysis"? That financing immigration through state enforced debt instead of the private resources of the migrants themselves is exactly the same thing?

For shame for being so myopic, and at the same time being so vocal.

So your position is that the State owns it, and can give it away to anyone. Got it.

You virtue signaling, race-baiting, lying propagandist. Absolutely no one is complaining about people "invited" in by current citizens. People are either sneaking in or being forcibly imported (financed by taxation) and insinuated into neighborhoods and voting districts.

That you are dense or dishonest enough to type what you did says a lot. Have the argument on honest terms or gtfo.

Are you trolling? If you want to sponsor an immigrant, and bond and insure them, that's utterly unobjectionable. But go hang out with Francisco so you two can imagine that it's just "Rayciss's" who want to keep "brownies" out who were all "invited" and have "jobs" waiting for them that Wenzel needs them to do to keep prices down in SF since he lost his SALT deduction.

  3. Before we delve too deeply into libertarian theory: Are these kids "torn" from their families by ICE, or are they truly "unaccompanied". i.e. does ICE know who and where the parents are?

Though, finally, I admit that Wenzel is right on with his outrage. At first I thought it was adults knowingly traveling to the US, aware of the process, and for some unknown reason bypassing the first place they arrived (Mexico) and traveling on to somewhere where they figure if they show up they get in.

But now I read that it is actually American soldiers going into other countries and, as you say, "taking them." I agree, that is really bad.

Contraband traffickers are fully aware of the process. What made their actions "criminal"? Nothing else besides the whim of the State.

People who braid hair without a 'license' are fully awarw of the process. What makes their otherwise peaceful actions 'criminal'? Why, the State!

Trumpistas such as you share the same penchant for delegating the task of defining ***reality*** to the State, as your brethren on the Marxian left. People trying to migrate to the US do so because the Market is signaling its needs to the rest of the world. That's what Markets do. Fascists and Marxians hate Markets or, at best, distrust them. "All this spontaneity! People acting according to their preferences, rather than in concordance with higher ideas like "national greatness"! All this individuality! What is the world coming to? Them Immigruntz takum er jebz!"

Ingesting drugs is not a moral crime. Cutting hair is not a moral crime. Breaking and entering is a moral crime. Taxing me to finance someone else's entry into my country, then taxing me to pay for their welfare, are moral crimes.

You should learn morality and the world will become clearer.

But, based on your comments and insistence on shouting "Trumpistas!" as if that made your point, I think that's asking too much.

    5. Also, @Francisco, since I am in absolutely no fear of an immigrant, or anyone actually, taking my job, do you think there could be other reasons for not wanting anyone in the world to become a US voter and tax-feeder? Do you have any other argument besides calling me a racist?

Here is a great article from a KKK rag about the lack of functional black round countries, but you libertardians want to import more savage turd world trash.

I'll be waiting for those calling us 'da rasis' to explain this article.

  7. Neocons pretend that their outrage over immigration stems from the "illegal" nature of it---i.e. that "they're breaking the law!"---when in reality, at its core, they're just plain upset that foreigners are coming here. I asked a "They-Should-Follow-The-Law-If-They-Don't-Want-To-Be-Arrested" neocon yesterday, would their outrage and opposition melt away if Congress suddenly abolished all immigration restrictions such that no immigrant was breaking the law by crossing out borders. Of course, the opposition still remained, and the argument was conveniently diverted and became "we simply MUST have immigration controls! Otherwise, felons and diseased people will enter 'our' country!"
I wish they'd just come out and admit that it's all about keeping this country and culture homogeneous.

    1. I don't fault anyone for wanting to live in a local community of people just like them, preferring cultural homogeneity. Self-segregation seems quite natural and reasonable; who wouldn't want to live with neighbors who share your values? My beef is with those who want to initiate force, most commonly through using the state, to get to that end point.

    2. Yeah it’s like anything else. If you want to give to charity, go ahead. Just don’t rob me to fund it. If you want to start your own whites-only society on your own private land, knock yourself out. But don’t use the state to impose your ethno-nationalist fetish on the rest of us.
