Big Social Justice Warrior Win: Miss America Ends Swimsuit Competition

I haven't watched the Miss America contest since I was in 8th grade but the social justice warriors continue to annoy me. Their cross-wired, control-freak, statist thinking has now reached deep into the heart of the Miss America pageant.

The next edition of the Miss America pageant will scrap swimsuits and will be "more inclusive" to women of all sizes, the contest organizers have just announced.

"We will no longer judge our candidates on their outward physical appearance. That's huge," Gretchen Carlson, the chairwoman of the Miss America board of directors, said on "Good Morning America," apparently unaware of the double entendre.

So what is left to judge? How much social justice warrior nonsense the contestants can spout?

The evening gown competition is being revamped as well. Carlson said contestants will now be able to wear "whatever they choose."

Contestants will also discuss how they would advance their social-impact initiatives during this part of the contest.

Yes, I can't wait for it. Some young fat slob pontificating in echo chamber style meaningless bromides as though she has uncovered the great truths of the world.

  2. It's called a "beauty" pageant for a reason. The SJW's need to create a "fat and ugly chicks" pageant if they're so apt to be triggered by attractive women in bathing suits.

  3. Because we would rather watch less beach body hotties and more of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww

Should turn around the pageants declining ratings.

  4. Women are here to look good and keep men sexually serviced. As usual, SJW's ruin everything.

And TLM is here to make an a$s of himself and keep white European males sexually nauseous.

  5. I'm confused. Did anyone ever watch any part of Miss America besides the swimsuit part?

Unless "whatever they choose" makes them look too slutty to keep the playing field "fair".

    1. Well, now, I have to wonder if they could choose to wear...nothing!

    2. Not such a good idea when they will be "more inclusive to women of all sizes”

  7. Looks like it will soon be time to cancel my Sports Illustrated subscription...

Also, when are spelling bees going to be canceled? They are manifestly unfair to those who are spelling-challenged (all government-school kids?).

    And American Idol?

They are grossly unfair to kids with minds suited for careers in engineering. As such you won't have any risk of spelling bees going away any time soon.

  8. "Carlson said contestants will now be able to wear "whatever they choose.""

That won't turn out well or very well depending on your point of view. If it really is whatever they choose it won't be very much at all. Just the nature of women competing in this manner. So of course there will be restrictions.
