Tulsi Gabbard on Attacking Syria

Our unfortunate and brutal history of waging regime change wars has failed. Interventions in Iraq and Libya caused death, destruction, and human suffering. We have neglected our own communities. Military action should be the last resort, not our first.

  1. It’s kind of depressing how rare these common-sense views appear to be, especially among the political establishment.

    1. Rare indeed though I am more surprised she hasnt gotten the "talking to," like most politicians that dont agree with the real power in the white house which is the military complex.

She seems consistently determined to point out when the US govt is being a fool.

  2. Neo-cons and Democrats: "Assad can't just go around killing 'his own' people like that! In response, we need to start a war and kill more of his own people!"
(You see, governments can kill OTHER countries' people day in and day out---witness Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Dresden, My Lai, and so on---but NOT their own).
