Victor Ward on Private Property Society Theory

Victor Ward writes:
People talk about government as if it has always existed. People talk about government as if it is infallible. They talk about government as if it is not simply a group of people that has as many weaknesses as the rest of us.

But the concept of a Private Property Society helps me to reboot my mind.
You can order from Amazon by clicking here.

Alternatively, Barnes & Noble has copies here.

The book is also available from Lulu.

And there are still eleven copies of the hardcover limited edition available, but these are going fast.

  1. Starting reading my copy on the train this morning. Showed my wife the dedication. We both had a chuckle.

I have always had a nagging feeling that there is a genuine difference between real property (land and buildings, especially land) and all other kinds of personal property. The quote of Jefferson in his email to Madison sounds right to me: "the earth belongs in usufruct to the living". https://jeffersonpapers.princeton.edu/selected-documents/thomas-jefferson-james-madison
