Peter Thiel's data-mining startup, Palantir Technologies, has won a major contract to provide software to the U.S. Army,
reports Bloomberg.
Palantir will work with Raytheon Co.on the contract. They beat out seven other proposals for a decade-long, US$876 million contract, according to the U.S. Defense Department.
Libertarian? Thiel looks more like a member of the military-industrial complex to me.
