Flooding Update on the Ron Paul Team Just Outside of Houston

Daniel McAdams, executive producer of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, just emailed:
We're evacuating.  We live on a bayou and don't want to be there if water comes in.
Ron Paul is going to tough it out.

Stay safe Dr. Paul!

UPDATE

And three more days of rain expected!

  1. The whole Bayou area is under water. That place floods every time it rains but this time the situation is much worse. The John Hershey park is totally submerged. My family and I went biking there just two weeks ago. Now it looks like a lake. It's really bad.

  2. We've had this very cool system sitting over southern Michigan for days. Too cold to swim or to keep the windows open at night. I understand that this cool system is blocking the hurricane system from moving north and dissipating as it might usually do. So it just sits and spins, pulling moisture out of the gulf on its east side. And I find it amazing that the forecasters predicted that with great accuracy, as horrible as it is.

  3. I'm glad Daniel got out of there! Not surprised Dr. Paul is sticking it out, but depending where your house is sitting it can make a big difference.
I hope this doesn't make too much of an impact on the RPI conference here in a couple weeks.
    Stay safe guys!
