Bannon: "Trump Presidency is Over"

Here we go, Steve Bannon just out the door and he is talking to the neocon Weekly Standard and it is a brutal attack on President Trump.

\ “The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” Bannon said Friday an interview with The Standard. “We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”

Bannon believes, things are about to get worse for Trump. “There’s about to be a jailbreak of these moderate guys on the Hill”—a stream of Republican dissent, which could become a flood.

As for himself, Bannon says the fight is just beginning.

“I feel jacked up,” he says. “Now I’m free. I’ve got my hands back on my weapons. Someone said, ‘it’s Bannon the Barbarian.’ I am definitely going to crush the opposition. There’s no doubt. I built a f***ing machine at Breitbart. And now I’m about to go back, knowing what I know, and we’re about to rev that machine up. And rev it up we will do.”

Bannon is preparing a war for Donald Trump, not against him.

“If there’s any confusion out there, let me clear it up: I’m leaving the White House and going to war for Trump against his opponents — on Capitol Hill, in the media, and in corporate America,” Bannon told Bloomberg Businessweek’s Joshua Green.

Green said that Bannon “sounded like he’d just consumed 40 Red Bulls” during his conversation with him on the phone.

  1. Love Trump or hate Trump, he has awoken us into the sad reality of how utterly corrupt our government is. We owe it no allegiance, no loyalty, no support.

    1. Personally, Trump has awoken me to the reality that there are even worse things government can be than "corrupt."
