File under: The government will protect us.

A police cruiser parked in San Francisco early Monday was damaged after someone appeared to throw a bathroom sink into the vehicle's back window.

The San Francisco Police Department patrol car was parked near 24th and Mission Streets, just steps away from a homicide investigation. It is unclear if the apparent act of vandalism was connected to the nearby police activity.

  1. They were mad that the sink was in a men's room rather than a gender-neutral one.
