Have the Koch Brothers Been Captured by the Cultural Marxists?

The  Koch brothers' network will host a three-day retreat starting today in Colorado Springs.

The exclusive event, reports the Denver Post, will draw hundreds of the nation’s top conservative donors to the Broadmoor resort as part of the Seminar Network, one of the umbrella organizations of the billionaire brothers, Charles and David Koch.

Don't think for a minute the gathering will be about libertarianism.

Sadly, despite having billions, the Koch brothers fear the good fight and have reduced themselves to promoting nonsense that won't offend anyone. They don't know it but they have been captured by the Cultural Marxists.

On the front page of Seminar Network scroll down to the video button, push and listen to the inoffensive babble being promoted in the video---and count how many absurd themes Cultural Marxists would be proud of.

UPDATE

Via the Washington Examiner:
COLORADO SPRINGS — NFL Hall-of-Famer Deion Sanders defended the Koch brothers here on Saturday as he announced a new initiative with Charles Koch's anti-poverty group to help people in the Dallas area.

Sanders told reporters he's "all in" with his new work with the 501(c)(3) Stand Together, and said the press has unfairly cast the Kochs in its stories.

"When you're someone of status and significant wealth, there's a tremendous expectation, and it's not easy to fulfill all those expectations," he said.

"You talk about a family that has one desire: to make this country a better place," Sanders said. "To level the playing field, to inspire, encourage, motivate. And that's what they do, and that's who they are, and I'm thankful to be partnered with them."

  1. Perhaps the Kochs are just taking a play from the Marxists in appropriating language. i.e. Libertarians co-opt the "progressive" label by changing the definition of what a progressive does. Progressive = making positive economic, structural and educational gains in urban areas at the speed of the market with voluntary exchange. Regressive - organizing politically to build a coalition of people to help elect one or more local government representatives so they can lobby to pass laws, regulation and direct aid to the community in question. Red tape, long delays, overpromise, underdeliver, coercion are the predictable results of working with Regressives.
