ESCALATION: US-Led Airstrike Hits Pro-Syrian Forces

As the Comey Show goes on, on network television, the serious death show escalates in the Middle East.

A US-led coalition launched an airstrike against alleged Iranian-backed fighters who it claims posed a threat to U.S. and U.S.-backed forces in a southern Syria de-confliction zone.

A Syrian military source said the strike had caused deaths and material damage and showed the coalition was "in support of terrorism."

First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council's Committee on Defense and Security Frants Klintsevich called the strike "a direct entry of the coalition into an open military conflict in Syria."

"This is an act of aggression, Russia will immediately raise the issue of an extraordinary convocation of the U.N. Security Council," Klintsevich stressed.

The Pentagon said the U.S.-led coalition struck pro-government forces Tuesday in southern Syria after they entered an area near a coalition base.

The attack took place near Tanf, Syria after forces supporting Syrian President Bashar Assad entered the area with a tank, artillery, anti-aircraft weapons, other vehicles and more than 60 soldiers.

  1. He's escalating tensions with Iran and Qatar to the extreme as well, but nobody cares because of the Comey show. I'm starting to understand why Trump got elected.

  2. I can't think of any invasion of any country with less justification than these attacks by USA. Well, not since Lincoln.
