Speaking before the Senate Intelligence Committee this afternoon, Attorney General Jeff Sessions lashed out at federal “leakers” who spread false rumors.
He went on to say that leaks of sensitive intellegence are out of control, and the leakers are gonna wish they hadn't leaked.
He says prosecuting leakers is a priority for his Justice Department.
Let's see if he busts anyone, It can't be that difficult to catch these people.
Of course, from a libertarian perspective, there is nothing wrong with government leakers.

ReplyDeleteUnless of course, you signed a contract pledging that you will not divulge secret documents which are entrusted to you.
You get it that this is a PERSONAL oath. Not to be taken lightly.
The "libertarian perspective" differs depending on whether we are talking about a stateless society, where all contracts would be between private parties and many such contracts could be binding, and today's society, where I would argue that contracts with the state, which is an illegitimate entity holding no property legitimately and having no legitimate interests, are not binding.
