Trump Says He's Open to Meeting Kim Jong Un, Says He 'Would Be Honored To Do It'

"Under the right circumstances," President Donald Trump said he would be open to meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

"If it would be appropriate for me to meet with him, I would absolutely, I would be honored to do it," Trump told Bloomberg in an interview. "If it's under the, again, under the right circumstances. But I would do that."

As I have pointed out here numerous times, this would be the best thing Trump could do to calm hostilities between the two nations--that and ending sanctions and opening the border with South Korea.

But what is this about "Under the right circumstances." Sounds like a big hedge to me.

Just do it, Donald!

  2. ... and have Rodman, Pippen and Jordan there to meet with him alongside Donald. Jong-Un would be flabbergasted. He was a big Chicago Bulls fan back in their heyday.

  3. Trump is signaling that if a hogtied Kim Jong Un prostrates himself before the living sword of democracy, Donald might be open to hearing one hundred words or less before he carries out the judgement of history.

  4. Right circumstances I would believe would consist of some place not North Korea.

  5. If Trump makes peace, he'll be safer in North Korea than at the Pentagon; lots of jobs hang in the balance. The morons need ever more wars to keep the money flowing as it flows now. Murdering foreigners is Big Happy Business - the biggest, the happiest. Killing is so much more exciting than producing. Taxing is so much more convenient than earning. Trump won't be allowed to spoil the game.

Anyway, the economy is doomed. War is needed to explain the pain to the government-educated insane.
