Trump Fanboy Delusion

The following email exchange took place between a Trump fanboy and Dr. Walter Block:
Hi Dr. Block,

It seems that I have hit a raw nerve with one of your friends. Robert Wenzel called me a delusional "Trump Fanboy.” He also wrote another article deriding me for calling him out for not honoring his commitment to praise Pres. Trump when he does something positive because he anticipates that Pres. Trump will fill the post with worse people or maybe he just likes Victoria Nuland and Co. Maybe Mr. Wenzel is suffering from the 'Battered Austrian/Libertarian Syndrome." LOL! I’m honored and delighted to attain the same status as you in Wenzel’s opinion as it pertains to the Trump presidency.

Your Friend,

 Dear XXXX,

Bob Wenzel and I are going to have another debate on Trump on the Tom Woods show, scheduled after Trump has been in office for 100 days. I am certainly going to support Donald for his “let’s get rid of two regulations for every new one we introduce” policy and also for his comments about defunding Berkeley U. Obviously, I’ll be agreeing with Bob W that Trump is horrid on Carrier Air conditioner, on free trade – protectionism, on war-mongering. Donald is no Ron Paul.

Best regards,

Walter

  1. The question seems to be "How bad is Donald Trump?"

Bad enough. Not as bad as Hillary Clinton (yet). Before election day if I had been in a battleground state I still might have voted for Donald Trump because Clinton was certainly awful. Donald Trump was possibly better. He has picked some awful employees. Perhaps he will correct or fire the bad ones. Could be. I hope.
