Robert F. Kennedy's Son to Run for Governor of Illinois

Looks like the Kennedys are coming off the bench.

Chris Kennedy, the son of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of President John F. Kennedy, has just announced that he will join the state's Democratic race for governor.

Kennedy, 53, was born in Boston and moved to Illinois 30 years ago. He is chairman of Joseph P. Kennedy Enterprises Inc., the Kennedy family's investment firm.

There are also rumors circulating that Caroline Kennedy may run for office in New York.

Of course, there are no indications that Kennedy policies would be anything more than lefty jello.

Take a look at this sad ad that Kennedy put out today.

Warning to my friends in Illinois: One thing I hear, Kennedy is good at asking anyone for a campaign donation. He will pin you down.
