| Robert Wenzel and Ezekiel Emanuel discuss Obamacare |
The evil architect of Obamacare, Ezekiel Emanuel, was in San Francisco yesterday. I caught up with him to press him about his advocacy of the central planning system.
At one point, he said that the healthcare system would collapse if Obamacare was repealed without a replacement. He specifically said the system needed a subsidy support system and a tax system to support it.
He singled out members of the House Freedom Caucus for taking a different view and wanting to simply repeal Obamacare. So I asked him if he thought Rand Paul's demand that repeal and replace must be done simultaneously. He immediately answered with an enthusiastic "Yes!"
Bottom line: When you start advocating for tweaks of a central planning system rather than abolishment, you can end up with support from some pretty evil people.
