CIA Escalates Attack on Trump

Here's the latest from the CIA via a leak to NBC:

U.S. intelligence officials now believe with "a high level of confidence" that Russian President Vladimir Putin became personally involved in the covert Russian campaign to interfere in the U.S. presidential election, senior U.S. intelligence officials told NBC News.

Two senior officials with direct access to the information say new intelligence shows that Putin personally directed how hacked material from Democrats was leaked and otherwise used. The intelligence came from diplomatic sources and spies working for U.S. allies, the officials said.

The CIA is fighting for its life (power and influence) with these leaks. It seems a long-shot that they will be able to flip enough Republican members of the Electoral College (37 flips would be needed) to throw the election to the House of Representatives but this is an indication of the effort they are going to put into derailing Trump efforts, even if he does become president as likely will be the case.
