VIDEO: Pence Booed On Broadway While Seeing 'Hamilton'

Vice president-elect Mike Pence when to see the hit Broadway musical "Hamilton" Friday night in New York, but received some boos from the audience.
At the end of the show, one of the actors asked Pence not to leave the theater before he could read a statement from the cast.

"Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you and we truly thank you for joining us at 'Hamilton: An American Musical,'" Brandon Victor Dixon said. "We are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. We hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us."

It is always good to see the power elite harassed, and Trump is flipping out, but the stage actors are as pro-government intervention as Trump. They just want intervention in different areas.

Is Trump going to apologize when he begins to implement his interventionist measures that will be enforced by armed men of the state?

  1. I'm not a fan of Pence, but if I ran a business, I wouldn't be rude to a customer who paid $850 for my services. It's bad enough when an audience member heckles a performer on stage, but this was someone on stage heckling an audience member who remained quiet throughout the entire musical. This is why people hate liberals.

  2. Hey, it's a good thing for Pence that he didn't go see "Our American Cousin".
