ReplyDeleteI've been thinking that off and on for 6 years since the FBI got caught planting the underwear bomber. Then Manning's collateral murder of journalists. Then Snowden's illegal domestic spying apparatus. Then Hillary having a secret server and deleting E-Mails against court orders. Now, this?
DeleteIt seems like no matter what is dropped, it's either not big enough, or the government simply doesn't prosecute itself. And we're all just waiting for someone to arrest the guilty people who do these evil things and send them to jail, and it never happens.
Anyone one of those situations I listed (not comprehensive) were explicit cases of illegal activity. Someone should have been arrested. Hell, we the people saw the evidence! But apparently the government won't prosecute itself.
So we're left at this.
I guess we need to realize the reply to your statement is, will it matter? Probably not a damn bit.
