Top Clinton Adviser: Hillary's Character Problem

In the latest Wikileaks Podesta email dump, we have an exchange between close Hillary confidant Neera Tanden and the chairman of the Clinton campaign John Podesta.

Tanden writes concerning Hillary:

I know this email thing isn't on the level. I'm fully aware of that. But her inability to just do a national interview and communicate genuine feelings of remorse and regret is now, I fear, becoming a character problem (more so than honesty).

Podesta responds:

Jen and I are in the same place. Trying to figure out how to respond.
