Pat Buchanan Endorses Hillary Clinton

Well that's how a libertarian should read it when Buchanan writes:
Prediction: If Hillary Clinton wins, within a year of her inauguration, she will be under investigation by a special prosecutor on charges of political corruption, thereby continuing a family tradition...
The number of persons of interest involved in this suppurating scandal, which has gone from an illicit server to a panoply of Clinton lies to the public that disgusted the FBI director, to erased emails, to “pay for play,” and now deep into the Clinton Foundation continues to grow.
All that is needed now, to bring us to an independent counsel, is calls for the FBI to reopen and broaden its investigation in light of all that has been revealed since Director Comey said there was not evidence enough to recommend an indictment.
If Clinton controls the Justice Department, calls for a special prosecutor will be resisted, but only until public demand becomes too great.
Since a libertarian should want interventionist politicians to be always otherwise occupied, this is a positive sign.

If Hillary becomes president, libertarians should hope for a Republican congress.

  1. No, Bob, that's NOT how a libertarian should read it. If you think that there is any way that a President HRC would be indited by a JD lead by Loretta Lynch, or that there will be a recommendation by Hillary's Attorney General of a special prosecutor to investiage HRC-related misdeeds, you have not been paying attention. That will never happen. Nor would any of this, as unlikely as it is, deter HRC in the slightest from massive domestic and foreign interventionism, much of it by executive order. Trump, on the other hand, with absolutely nothing to lose, just might appoint an AG to go after the Clinton Crime Family. And that's how this libertarian sees it.

    1. Actually I suspect you won't hear much from la Clinton because she will be working for all those billionaire and special interests that come by.... sure for a price and all those voting blocs could kiss her ass. hey she could even be a one term president if she works hard enough and avoid having to set up another fake race with the republicans again.

  2. Wrong, Wenzel. Hillary will beat a prosecution, and will have Congress in her thrall. Trump on the other hand has friends nowhere. Even by your own standards you should endorse Trump over Hillary.

    1. I don't know about in thrall but judging by the tone of the hacked emails they know she's open to a deal and they are down with that.
