Walter,

You said in an interview with Mike Shanklin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5nrspbLGcI<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5nrspbLGcI> "Once he gets the Republican nomination LFT disbands." (20:20)

Have you disbanded LFT?

Warm regards, Michael

  1. It shouldn't exist in the first place. El Trumpo is not only not a libertarian, his views are antithetical to libertarianism, economics and even basic moral principles.

We all know Hill-Rod is horrible but that doesn't turn another horrible person into a libertarian by comparison.

    1. In the column linked, Block says this about Trump: "He is execrable on free trade and does not seem to understand economics. He seems ambivalent about the minimum wage and supports such socialist nostrums as welfare and Social Security."

Block's point is that, on foreign policy issues, Trump is the closest to libertarian of any of the major candidates. Elsewhere, Block has said (rough paraphrase from memory) that voting for a master who beats you once a day over a master who beats you three times a day is not the same as endorsing slavery, but rather is common sense.

Personal disclaimer: I do not endorse anybody voting for anyone, as I believe it tends to place a patina of legitimacy on a process which is inherently illegitimate (running other people's lives based on majority vote).

  2. He made the same pledge in his debate with you hosted by Tom Woods at the 4:00 mark.

So much for pledges made by Trumpsters.
