Donald Trump enters the general election campaign laboring under the worst financial and organizational disadvantage of any major party nominee in recent history, writes the New York Times.
Trump began June with just $1.3 million in cash on hand, a figure more typical for a campaign for the House of Representatives than the White House, says NYT, and trailed Hillary Clinton by more than $41 million, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission late Monday.
Trump is the ultimate street hustler. To gain the White House, he will have to out hustle Hillary. He is not going to do it by matching her organization.

Trump spent 2% of what Jeb did and "schlonged" him. Campaign cash is but one measure of campaign strength. Other measurements include media celebrity, number of Twitter followers who actually read tweets, face time on TV, live radio interviews, Drudge favorability and more. Cash is nice but money can't buy me love.
