"Libertarian" Peter Thiel Speaks to Alternative Media at Bilderberg

Harrison Burge sends along the below clip and writes:
"Libertarianism is not synonymous with radical transparency. That's often the argument that the Stasi would make." - Thiel

Huh? In the video (he starts speaking 36 seconds in), Thiel begins by making valid points about open dialogue with others who may not share one's views. Then he goes off the deep end. Thiel illogically connects the desire for greater transparency of government officials' collusion with corporate interests to the Stasi's surveillance state. In the process of his incoherent rant, this "libertarian" demonstrates that he sees no distinction between violent government and peaceful society.

He's right about one thing. We do have lot of problems in our society. But it's not up to the global elite to solve these problems. Leave it to the people through free markets. Leave it to the real libertarians.

  1. "But it's not up to the global elite to solve these problems."

Especially since they are the cause of most.

  2. I think the main concern that people have with Bilderberg is that the Bilderbergers are not acting in the public interest. Meaning that it is widely believed that the Bilderbergers are plotting bailots for billionaires by governments under their control.
