Buckle Your Seat Belt, Party Insider Critical of Donald Trump Picked to Chair the RNC's Powerful Rules Committee

The Republican National Committee has named longtime party insider and former Congresswoman Enid Mickelsen to chair the powerful rules committee.

The RNC announced the appointment in a statement from Chairman Reince Priebus Friday that lauded Mickelsen's "track record of excellence and fair-mindedness."

The Hill reports:
Mickelsen did not endorse a candidate in the primary, but she's been critical of Trump in recent weeks.

"Neither Hillary or Donald Trump are going to be the people that we point our children toward and say, 'I want you to be just like them when you grow up.' That's not the case in this race, and that's a shame," she told The Salt Lake Tribune earlier this month.

  2. Hilary gets the oval office as long service award, Trump and Sanders do a job keeping respective bases voting for rotten old 2 party system.

    1. Based on ideological logic, Sanders should endorse Jill Stein as she matches his views more than Hillary but if he's serious about stopping Trump it wouldn't make sense. This could change if somehow Hillary is actually arrested
